Carl von Linde Senior Fellow and TUM-IAS Host Prof. Daniel Cremers (Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition) has been elected a member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities. With this, the members of the Academy would like to acknowledge Prof. Cremer’s achievements in the field of mathematical image processing and pattern recognition.
The Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities is the greatest and one of the oldest academies in Germany. Only researchers that have substantially added to the advancement of their field can be elected members of the Academy. A full press release can be found here.
