New Siemens Fellowships for TUM-IAS

With six new fellowships at TUM-IAS, Siemens AG supports research on the "Industrial Metaverse".
In the industrial metaverse, technical plants, buildings, cities or even energy networks and transport systems and their functions can be simulated. With its focus on "Token Economics", "Web3 Architecture", "Digital Twin", "Autonomous Systems" and "Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence", the TUM-IAS with the Hans Fischer Fellowships combines international scientific expertise with the research of the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology (CIT), the Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI) and the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI). Siemens is providing a total of 2.4 million euros for the next few years.
