Location: Ludwig Prandtl Auditorium MW 0250 (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Boltzmannstraße 15, 85748 Garching)
Speaker: Prof. Marco Caccamo
In his inaugural lecture, new Humboldt Professor (and former TUM-IAS Visiting Professor funded by the TÜV Süd Stiftung) Marco Caccamo will shed light on new trends in embedded real-time computing for cyber-physical systems. His Chair of Cyber-physical Systems in Production Engineering was founded recently in September 2018, focusing on the design of safe, predictable, and high performance embedded platforms for next generation cyber-physical systems.
The new professor will be introduced by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nikolaus Adams (Dean of the Department of Mechanical Engineering). Students, department staff and guests are warmly invited to the inaugural lecture to find out about the subject and to get to know Prof. Caccamo. Afterwards, there will be light refreshments and an opportunity for conversation.
