Short CV
Antonia Larese is Associate Professor in Hydraulic and Maritime Constructions and Hydrology at the University of Padova, Italy. She got her M.Sc. in civil engineering by the University of Padova (2006) where she graduated cum laude and special mention of the committee, she got a M.Sc.in Numerical Methods (2011) and a PhD in Structural Analysis (2012) by the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain. She got a postdoctoral fellowship at the UPC by the Catalonian government (2015-2017) and she was Juan de la Cierva (senior) postdoctoral fellow at the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering CIMNE (2017-2018). She won a R.L.Montalcini junior professorship at the University of Padova, Italy (2018). Since 2008 she has also been working at CIMNE holding different positions. She is one of the developers of KRATOS Multiphysics open source platform (https://github.com/KratosMultiphysics/Kratos).
