Short CV
Jane A. McKeating received a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick in 1982 and a PhD in Virology from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine at University College London in 1987. From 1987- 1992, she was a research fellow at the Institute of Cancer Research in London. From 1994-1999, she was a Research Fellow of the Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine as well as an lecturer/reader in Virology at the University of Reading. After working as as a Section Head of Anti-Virals at Pfizer Research Central Research, UK, from 1999-2000, Jane A. McKeating moved to Rockefeller University as an associate professor. From 2005 - 2017, she was a professor of Molecular Virology at the University of Birmingham, a professor of Molecular Virology at the University of Birmingham, where she was the director of the Centre of Human Virology since 2012 and the Deputy Head of the School of Immunity and Infection since 2013. In 2017, Jane A. McKeating transferred to the University of Oxford.
