Hans Fischer Senior Fellow, awarded by the TÜV SÜD Foundation, Prof. Bernhard Schrefler (University of Padova), was selected as the Panel Chair for one the ERC Peer Review Panels for the ERC Advanced Grant 2016 by the ERC Scientific Council. The Panel Chair and the Panel Members make a significant commitment of their time to the ERC peer review evaluation process.
There are in total 25 panels, divided between the 3 domains as follows: 9 panels in Life Sciences (LS), 6 panels in Social Sciences and Humanities (SH) and 10 panels in Physical Sciences and Engineering (PE).
Prof. Schrefler is the Chair of the PE8 – Products and Process Engineering Panel.
The prestigious ERC Advanced Grants are awarded to excellent and established scientists who have demonstrated significant achievements within the last ten years.
