Short CV
Prof. Mora-Boza (*1992) is a biomaterials scientist at the interface of stem cell biology and advanced in vitro modeling. She studied Biotechnology at Universidad Pablo de Olavide and completed her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Universidad Carlos III with Julio San Román. Following postdoctoral research at Georgia Institute of Technology with Andrés García and at University of Galway with Abhay Pandit, she began her position as Rudolf Mößbauer Assistant Professor at Technical University of Munich in February 2026.
Selected Awards
- 2025, BMBF-NanoMatFutur Grant
- 2025, ECCO Award, European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation
- 2023, Women in Interactive Materials Award Shortlist
- 2022, Postdoctoral Leadership and Innovation Fellowship, Georgia Institute of Technology
