Outstanding international scientists who intend to explore innovative, high-risk topics in their research areas together with a TUM research group are eligible for a Hans Fischer Senior / Hans Fischer Fellowship.

Highly qualified researchers from industry with a strong connection to TUM research groups are eligible for a Rudolf Diesel Industry Fellowship. TUM-IAS especially welcomes applications from companies abroad.

Active TUM faculty members with a distinguished track record in research who intend to provide substantial scientific leadership towards the creation of innovative, high-risk research areas at TUM are eligible for a Carl von Linde Senior Fellowship.

Outstanding international scientists who intend to explore gender- and diversity-relevant topics with regard to the natural and engineering sciences together with a TUM research group are eligible for an Anna Boyksen Fellowship.

TUM-IAS explicitly encourages nominations of and applications from women as well as from all others who would bring additional diversity dimensions to the university’s research and teaching strategies.
