Supercomputing, artificial intelligence, and Europe’s technological sovereignty
News |
The international workshop focused on the future of supercomputing, AI, and Europe's technological sovereignty. But the result is more than a strategic outline for technological infrastructure; it is a philosophical manifesto for Europe’s digital future. The proposals are not merely responses to economic or geopolitical competition but are, at their core, a reaffirmation of the humanistic principles that must guide the digital age.
The workshop was organized by TUM Institute for Advanced Study, the Bavarian Academy of Sciences, the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA), and the TUM School of Computation, Information, Technology.
We would like to thank all the speakers for their presentations and insights, which have resulted in clear recommendations for action for decision-makers in government, universities, and businesses.
