Events, WCT |

On January 11, 2023, Prof. Cathleen Zeymer (Protein Chemistry, TUM) will talk about The 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry – Linking molecules with a “click.”

Abstract: Bio-orthogonal reactions facilitate precise chemical transformations in the complex environment of biological systems. It is possible to modify, label, and link biomolecules in a highly specific and clean fashion, even inside of living cells. The 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to three scientists who pioneered this field of research. The coffee talk will give a brief overview about their achievements and the importance of their work.

Date: January 11, 2023
Time: 13:00 CET (until approx. 14:00)
